SRM7, ACF, and Short Dump

Hi all,

We've just completed a 'technical upgrade only' from SRM 5 to SRM7.  The business has decided that we will remain with our 'old' Application Controlled Workflows from SRM5.

So far, my question is simple – I have noticed that the creation of SAP standard tasks such as TS14508044 as well as TS10008069 will cause a short dump because they refer to transaction BBPSC07 (the old SRM5 ITS based SC Approval transaction).

The task still launches in the UWL – but when the task is created, it generates a short dump.

There are no notes on OSS about BBPSC07 that appear applicable (there is one about changing the ITS links) and I've debugged through SWU7OBJP to the point where it calls
RH_GET_TASK_ATTRIBUTES, which then returns the transaction BBPSC07.

I am wondering if we ‘missed’ something in the upgrade, where we would have cleared out the entries in HRS1201 that refer to obsolete transactions.  To my knowledge, no BC sets were required for this upgrade specifically related to Application Controlled WF, and there is no service for transaction BBPSC07 to be activated.

Here’s the short dump…I’ve looked all over SCN and am about blind from having too many windows open, but nothing seems applicable here.

I'm also reasonably sure that when I try the other SAP-delivered tasks for PO Approval, contracts, and bids that I will encounter the same type of issue.

TIA,

Sue
