Critical parts goes below Re-order pt - to trigger email via Workflow

Hi Experts,

I am new to workflow and here is my requirement.

 

When Material goes below Re-order pt in MM , MRP runs and creates PR/Sch Line. I want to trigger email to some Group when few Critical parts goes below Re-order point via Workflow

 

A workflow should trigger and get email to Group I saw one standard workflow (WS03100020) but I dont know how to active and how it will work.

 

I can copy this to custom workflow using PFTC and do, but when the material document creates - Means Critical parts are consumed and Stock level goes below re-order point. how my copied custom workflow triggers?

 

Critical Parts A , C , F, X  and Z

 

If Material  A ,C and F goes below re-order pt then email to trigger to GROUP1.

If Material X and Z goes below re-order pt then email to trigger to GROUP2.

 

Need to know :

1) steps to copy and modify

2) How to Execute manually

3) How to execute automatically when Material stock falls below re-order point. ( Lets say in MM03 Re-order pt is 5 ) and IN MMBE current stock is 20, when there is consumption ( Material DOcument to Cost center - Mvtype 201 ) for 16 QTY.. then my Custom or Standard Workflow should Trigger and should get a email to Group.

 

How to achieve this. Please explain me with Step. Highly apprieciate your help and will reward points

How to suspend a process instance via the public API of SAP NetWeaver BPM 7.3

Method 'PROCESS' is not defined for object type 'BUS2081'

Hi All,

 

I am using a workflow for incoming invoice approval using WS20001004. I prepared one version for this. The standard business methos bus2081 i delegated to zbus2081. Here i placed one decision step for reject or approve. In the same task in inbox i can see the document i can see as attachment. Now the issue is after seeing the attachment when i click on task in  my inbox it status is changed to red and i can  not process it further.In log i can see the error like Method 'PROCESS' is not defined for object type 'BUS2081'. This method i do not have in standard or in delegated one. I was struck here. Pleas help in this.

To stop email notification for a user regarding PR release in workflow

Hi All,

 

I am new to workflow.

I need to stop an email notification for a user who receives it for PR release.

I checked earlier posts which stated some send email steps in workflow and extended notifications.

But I am not aware of any of this things.

Can you all please help me in resolving this? As i hardly know anything about workflow.

How can i check where this email notification gets triggered or from where it picks the user id?

Your help would be appreciated.

Forwarded successfully the workitem for BO-BUS2000220(complaint) in the worklist of other user: Problem in "Sent date" not reflecting correctly in SAP CRM 7.0 Web UI

I am working with SAP CRM 7.0. We have a workflow in the system which is triggered at the creation of complaint(BO:BUS2000220) and then assign the complaint workitem

in the woklist of specified agent. I have created a report and scheduled it daily to forward the complaint into the worklist of user B from worklist of user A after 7 days

from creation date of complaint. But the problem is that the forwarded complaint is showing in the worklist of user B with sent date(the creation date of complaint, not the

forwarded date).

 

 

Relevant code:

Task TS00007989 agent not determined still Mails are going to USERS

Hi Experts,

 

At one of our client task TS00007989 is activated for error handling for IDOC.

 

IDOC is created by report in background and system is not getting partner profile in WE20 for the customer hence  post processing agent is also not found for task, hence it is raising an error and task TS00007989 gets trigger.

 

Here my problem is, specific user is getting so many mails. Now i want to find out why & how system is sending this mails to the USER other way is to deactivate the workflow from WE40.

 

 

I have checked the LOG from swi2_freq and SWI5.

I would like to find out why & how system is sending this mails to the USER. I have checked from HR tables HRP1001 from there also i didn't found anything

 

Guys Please help me as i have already spent so many days on the same.

Rule with responsibilities resolving in Simulation but not in Workflow

Hi all,

 

firstly let me apologise as i have seen this question asked else where but no answer.

 

I have created a custom workflow where by i have t send work itesm to different approvers based on their context, i have created a method where by i am getting the context for eat approver, i am then using this context in my rule. Within the simulation the rule works ie for each context i get a list of approvers. Binding between rule to workflow is done accordingly. However in the workflow the rule is returning all agents at once ie not grouped as defined in the rule. This means the workflow is being sent to all approvers. CAn you please help. My scenario is as follows:

 

Based on the table below user one should only get work items with rows 1 and 4 ie XXX, user 2 should get only row 2.

However only one work item is being sent and users are getting all entries.

 

Basically the grouping is not working.

Feedback after error event COMPLETEDAPPRAISAL of BUS7026

Hi All,

I activated standard Appraisal approval workflow WS01000105.

When I complete an appraisal document and event COMPLETEDAPPRAISAL of BO BUS7026 is triggered I check event trace and see FEEDBACK ERROR saying "Source (expression '&_EVT_OBJECT.AGGREGATE&') of binding assignment is not available"

I am not very sure where to look for the problem. Since the WF, BO everything is standard what could have gone wrong?

Hi All,

 

Please help me in this. I am trying to send a mail when user rejected the item in his inbox. I am getting error like

Exception '1003' is not defined for method 'SENDTASKDESCRIPTION' object type 'SELFITEM'. I tried so  many ways like no attachments,send express ,siganture,encryption all disabled but still the same error from user outbox who ever rejects it.

WS20000075: work item of 1st release step stays in status In process

Hi All,

 

I have activated and set up standard flow WS20000075 but the work item of 1st release (PO release strategy with 3 levels) step stays in status In process. The work item for the 2nd and 3rd release step are completed as expected.

 

What could cause only the work item of the 1st release step to stay In process?

Changing the sender name of WF-BATCH

Hi,

 

I am new to workflow programming and looking for guidance on changing the sender name of the emails going (SENDMAIL activity) as WF-BATCH user.

 

I looked at the input from this group on similar question and understood that what I need to achieve can only be done via FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.

 

I am unsure how to accomplish this if the email I am sending out needs to read the description captured in the task (whic is a dialog method) before this (TS01000140).


 

 

Can anyone give me inputs on how to achieve this?

BPM Timer Object - Process sticks at timer after duration runs out

We have a process that is using a timer as part of the logic, but we had a strange issue where the process got stuck on the timer for 10 hours (it should have been 1 minute). The context values seem fine for the timer. This has only happened once. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? Server issue? We are running 7.31 SP05.

how to get attachment

Hi,

we are daily manually triggering the process chain (time is not fixed) where 5-6 jobs/programs are linked & they are exucuted.

after completion of this process chain, i need to trigger a transaction (z report) in APO & the output of that report is to be mailed to the list of users in the form of an excel attachment.

 

In case when a background job is scheduled, i am able get the attachment but i am not able to get the attachment through trigger based job.

 

pls guide how to do this is SAP APO (SCM) server.

Error in SELFITEM -> SENDTASKDESCRIPTION

Hi,

 

When executing method SENDTASKDESCRIPTION to notify the completion of document its resulting with error "Document could not be sent". In the container Address strings are correctly filled to send. For few cases notifications are sent correctly. Only in some cases, its resulting with error.

When I debugged the method SENDTASKDESCRIPTION, function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 resulting with exception " operation_no_authorization ".

I debugged further to identify the issue,

In class CL_BCS_PPF, Method - execute

 

PERFORM expand_bor_object IN PROGRAM saplsbcomsut

                                      TABLES expanded_tab

                                      USING  borident

                                             l_rcode.

 

if l_rcode <> 0.                            "note 835402 >>

*           seems that all recipients have been removed due to missing auth.

 

Here l_rcode is 2648 which leading to authorisation error. But I am not able to find what is the authorisation missing here? Please guide me.

 

When I debug above perform, Its leading to

 

swc_call_method handle 'Expand' container.

 

RSSOOT04- Expand :

 

*   Save Recipient object

    SWC_CLEAR_CONTAINER LOCAL_CONTAINER.

Error with task TS1000160 - Approve appraisal

Hi All,

I am implementing standard appraisal approval workflow WS01000105.

Workflow is triggering ok and all is working as expected except from standard task TS1000160 which is executed after approval.

This task executes method APPRAISALAPPROVE of BO BUS7026 in background and it generates a Runtime Error of type DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND.

It seems that the reason is that this method asks for a transport at the moment of changing appraisal document status from "Completed" to "Approved".

What it is confusing to me is that this is a standard task of a standard workflow.

Any help on what to do to fix this issue?

workflow issue in HCM Process and Forms

Hi,

 

I have created one  workflow for HCM Process and form ( Termination) . In that workflow, there are Two levels. First and second level is approved by the respective managers. I am using the Standard TASK TS17900100  both levels having the  Send,  "BACK TO AUTHOR" option.


When I initiate the form it has generated the process reference number, it went to first level approval  and the respective manger receivedwork item in his UWL inbox  in this stage I have checked in backend (PA20)  infotypes( 0 & 1) are updating automatically and employee has been terminated without approval of work item.


I have checked in workflow log the work item has with first level manger only.

 

any one please help me on this.

Workflow Functional Specification Document

Hi All

 

 

I am working on a implementation project which includes Workflows. Right now I am in the process of writing the functional specification document for the Workflows. I am a functional consultant and never worked on workflows.

 

Can some one provide me what should be included in the functional document , how should the flow be written.

 

Is there any sample Workflow template anyone can share.

 

There are 4 places that requires workflows according to my understanding as described below in my requirement:

 


1. Workflow for corporate users when a notification is created or closed

2. Workflow email, forward a complaint to

     Finance Manager

     Quality Manager

     Plant Managers

3. Workflow for forwarding to an approver, reassign task to someone else

4. Workflow to send remainder emails for open items longer than 30 days

 

 

Please provide your insights and neccesary documentation to start

Add a FPM into a custom decision task

Hi mate

i just want to know, is it possible to add a piece of FPM webdynpro UI, like a POWL or a input field into a custom decision task? the custom decision task is copied from the standard one, DECISION->PROCESS. i am going to view the task via NWBC.
