I have the ff requirements:
1. Create a web dynpro.
2. Requestor will trigger workflow from web dynpro.
3. In workflow, send emails to a number of recipient.
4. In the email, the web dynpro link is included in the body.
5. The recipient who first click the link locks the web dynpro.
6. When the user opens the web dynpro, he can modify the web dynpro's content and then has the option to click the approve or reject button.
7. If the user approves, the workflow should continue and send email to the next level approver.
If the user rejects, the workflow should continue and send email to the requestor.
Question:
After sending the email, how would the WF be able to continue?
How would the workflow know if the web dynpro is already approved or rejected.
In my experience with WF, we always use User Decision step, but in this particular requirement the action is in the web dynpro and not in WF.
Is there a way to call the next step after send mail in the web dynpro so that the WF can continue?
