SBWP: User misses work items

We have a quite strange issue in the workflow inbox.

A user complains about missing work items.

 

However when we check SWI5 they are in his inbox "to be completed".

Nevertheless whenever he starts SBWP, he only sees work items which are reserved for him.

 

We found out about a "workaround":

In SBWP, when the user uses "Refresh organizational environment", the workitems appear in his inbox.

Nothing has changed in the organizational environment recently.

The user's assignment is the same before and after the refresh.

Furthermore in our workflow implementation the agents/users are not determined using org management.

For each step in the workflow customer tables are checked for users who should receive the workitem.

 

When the user leaves SBWP and re-enters, the workitems are gone again.

 

The user has the right authorization.

Workflow customizing is correct (SWU3).

The workitems are assigned to him (SWI5 and "agents" itab of workflow container).

Also none of the BADIs regarding SBWP is implemented.

 

The only thing we noticed:

The user has two position assignments in org. management.

 

Did anyone of you encounter such an issue?

Do you have some hints what else we could check?
