Unexpected activation of WFs

Dear Colleagues,

Do you have any ideas what activity could cause massive amount of workflows to be activated?

We just realized we have dozens of standard workflows with active linkages for no apparent reason.

I checked logs for SWE2 related tables, there is no trace of these activations (I did manually deactivate one and the log got updated).

I checked transport requests and found a pack of 170 that brought problem to the other servers but none of them includes PDWS/PDTS objects.
