Use of GET_CALENDAR --> BRF Application Exit in a WF

Hi,

I need to use the GET_CALENDAR functionality in BRF application exits in a WF. I need to read Factory Calendar and check if it is a holiday and based on which send a email to the Customer. Can some one share some information or document how to go about with it.
