I implemented the check function module suggested in this topic (A grown-up Singleton concept for Workflow instances (3 step approach)) and it worked fine.
But the situation is: my workflow model is available to start manually, not only by the triggering event, but also when the end user wants to submit the document for evaluation again (using Services for Object button -> Workflow -> Start Workflow)
The check function module doesn't work in this case, because the event is not triggered.
Using the standard, when end user starts workflow manually he can do it several times.
Would it be recommended to create a task at the begining of workflow to prevent creation of a second active instance for the same object?
