How to restrict the notifications for single release PR line items?

Hi Experts,

I need to restrict notification for single requisition release. standard object is used for single requisition release but i need to restrict the notifications as users are getting the notification for every line item. Users dont want notification for line item per line item but they want overall summary of line items.

Suppose, if the users selected 10,30,40 line items only one notification needs to be sent for those 3 line items, currently it is sending 3 notifications.

Any inputs??
