Customer Extionsion to other company code(XD01) Workflow is working fine in Devlopment not in Quality

Hi Experts,

I am experiencing an issue with customer extension with another company code.

Issue: A customer is created through XD01 under company code exp-1500. Now it is needed to extend that customer to another company code exp:1502 through XD01.

The scenario is working fine in development system,but in quality a messge is getting displayed based on customer extension:

"customer # is currently being edited by the user WF-BATCH"

I have found there is a custom workflow for customer extension.

Note: I didnt develop this custom workflow in development. My part is only analyze why this is not working on QA environment.

I dont have clue why this is not working in QA.
