Hello all,
Back working on this very complex AP parked document approval workflow.
I made the following workflow changes to add a new condition value to the condition step which should cause these parked documents with that condition to create the workitem in a new folder and assign the appropriate users from the org unit specified in the task based upon the field used in the agent rule.
- - added a new condition value, which triggers the right most path - in the attached screen print,
- - 1st step is a foreground step that will creates a workitem in the approvers inbox
- - all paths of the condition step execute the same steps - just create the workitem in different folders
- - all the foreground steps use the same agent rule & exclusion
- - agent assignment of new task is identical to the existing tasks
- - new task and rule bindings match originals
Unlike the original steps that create the workitem in the appropriate folder and assign the workitem to the appropriate approvers, this new step is processed immediately by the user who performed an activity previously in the workflow before the condition step was reached.
It seems that the agent assignment is not getting set so the workitem goes to all users and the user that did something previously automatically gets the pop up screen that the approver user would see when executing the workitem from their folder.
I have added an attachment with 3 screen prints to give additional detail.
Thanks
Bruce
