Hi,
I'm working on a brand new implementation and we are considering using POWL as our workflow inbox instead of the execrable UWL.
Has anyone else done this?
For those - like me! - not familiar with POWL, it could be described as a general tool for making lists. For example, a list of sales documents posted today, which may need attention. You can execute actions directly from the list.
This concept has been applied to the listing of workitems - in other words, a new type of workflow inbox. But this one does not rely on XML config and WebDynpro Java.
The features are explained here:

Before we head down this road, my questions are: was POWL easy to configure/implement, and how successful was the final result? Did you end up with a fully-featured inbox?
I'd love to hear your war stories.
thanks in advance
