I am new to workflow and am having a problem changing the data type of an element that is in the workflow container. The image below shows that I am in change mode while viewing the 'Container operation' that sets the 'revtext' element's value.
If I double click on the 'revtext' variable, I see the following screen, but there is no option to change the data type from CHAR17 to my desired value.
Having said that, I was able to change the data type of 'revtext' in a subsequent step of the workflow. What am I missing? Is there somewhere that the container element is defined such that if I change it there, it is updated in all of my workflow 'steps'?
